PIER40 sits in the middle of ZUIDYARD, right on the water and opposite Noah’s Ark. Inside you will find mango wood, dusty pink velvet and olive green, soft light and a long bar. On the terrace you sit outside on the Maashaven.
You do not need to visit an attraction to eat or drink at PIER40: the restaurant is open to everyone. Come with friends, colleagues or the whole family.
From lunch to dinner on the Maashaven
The menu features familiar dishes with a Rotterdam twist: sandwiches and toasties, sharing boards, grill dishes such as De Rotterdammer (beef burger, €15.50) and De Maas chicken satay (€15.50), and wine by the glass or bottle.
PIER40 is open Tuesday to Saturday from 11:00 to 20:00 and on Sunday from 13:00 to 20:00. We are closed on Mondays.

ZUIDYARD can be reached by water taxi. The water taxi moors at the PIER40 terrace, on the waterfront: you step off right at the restaurant. Sail to the Zuidyard stop; book with Watertaxi Rotterdam on +31 10 403 03 03, at info@watertaxirotterdam.nl or at their desk next to Hotel New York.
