Lunch in Rotterdam at PIER40

PIER40 is a restaurant and bar by the water at ZUIDYARD. At lunchtime you sit at a long table inside or on the terrace on the Maashaven, with a good cup of coffee or an organic juice.

Booking is not required: walk in and see if a table is free. You do not need to visit an attraction at ZUIDYARD to have lunch at PIER40.

What is on the lunch menu?

  • Sandwiches and toasties: De Maastosti (ham and cheese or cheese toastie, €7.95), Tuna melt (€9.95), De Kaapse kip pulled chicken ciabatta (€12.50), Club sandwich (€13.50) and the Katendrecht carpaccio wrap (€12.50).
  • Lunch favourites: De 12-uur van de Maask with soup of the day, a ham and cheese roll and a small fried-egg dish (€14.50), and De Havenmeester with three fried eggs, ham and cheese (€12.50).
  • Soup from the greenhouses (€7.50): a different soup every day with vegetables from the greenhouses of Bram bij Beelen.
  • From the grill: De Rotterdammer burger, De Maas chicken satay and the Korean burger (€15.50), served with fries.
  • For children: the Kids lunch deal up to age 12 with a toastie, fries and a soft drink (€9.50).

PIER40 is in the middle of ZUIDYARD, opposite Noah’s Ark. Have lunch before or after a ride on the Beelen Eye, a visit to the Ark or an afternoon of play. Hand in your Noah’s Ark ticket (€2) and get €2 off at PIER40.
